At Eastern Connecticut Ballet we believe it is important to provide performance opportunities in order to showcase the talents of our devoted young dancers. Working on new choreography and dancing classic masterpieces completes our dancers’ training with invaluable stage experience. Those who have achieved proper technique may qualify to join the Youth Company. Company dancers appear each season at multiple venues throughout the region for charitable benefits and school assemblies, as well as in fully staged productions.

During The Nutcracker, performed annually at the Garde Arts Center in New London, students dance next to stars of today’s ballet world with live music of the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra.

Every other year ECB presents a Showcase that involves the entire school. Our very youngest dancers take their place on stage along with our most accomplished students, experiencing the thrill of lights, music and a live audience.
